Step 1: Use Approved Payback Genetics Sires

Enroll as a Payback Genetics breeder and utilize approved Payback Genetics sires through the program.

Step 2: Nominate Eligible Lambs

Nominate eligible offspring through the Payback Genetics system and apply the official nomination tag.

Step 3: Sell Your Lambs

Market your lambs as:

PAYBACK GENETICS ELIGIBLE

This designation gives buyers an additional incentive to purchase your lambs.

Step 4: Buyers Show and Win

When exhibitors purchase a Payback Genetics eligible lamb and earn qualifying championships, they become eligible for Payback Rewards payouts.

Step 5: Payback Genetics Pays the Buyer

After eligibility verification and submission of required documentation, Payback Genetics issues the appropriate payout and promotes the winning animal, exhibitor, and breeder.

Payback Genetics AI Haul-In Events

Payback Genetics is partnering with trusted reproductive specialists to offer scheduled AI haul-in events featuring approved Payback Genetics sires.

These events provide breeders with a convenient opportunity to coordinate artificial insemination services and access Payback Genetics semen at designated locations. Space is limited, and a separate reservation is required for each ewe.

To maximize breeding success:

1. Ewes should be healthy and in appropriate body condition.

2. All synchronization protocols must be completed prior to your scheduled AI date.

3. Detailed instructions regarding synchronization, arrival times, and event logistics will be provided before the event.

Frozen or fresh semen, synchronization supplies, and AI services are sold separately.

Space is limited and reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Available sires, semen type, and participation are subject to availability, fertility, collection schedules, and event-specific requirements.

Bucks and semen are subject to fertility and availability. While every effort is made to provide high-quality semen, pregnancy rates cannot be guaranteed.

A breeder uses approved Payback Genetics semen on their ewes.

They nominate eligible offspring and apply the official Payback Genetics nomination tag.

A wether is sold to a 4-H or FFA exhibitor.

That exhibitor wins Grand Champion Market Lamb at a qualifying show.

The exhibitor submits proof of the win.

Payback Genetics verifies eligibility.

The exhibitor receives a payout.

Payback Genetics promotes the winning exhibitor, breeder, and genetics.

Buy Semen

Payback Genetics Lamb Nomination Form

Only one nomination is required per lamb. The form may be completed by either the breeder or the exhibitor. If one party has already submitted the nomination, a second submission is not needed.


A separate nomination form must be completed for each lamb. Multiple lambs may not be listed on the same form.

Nomination Tags

Each unit of semen sold through the Payback Genetics program earns one nomination tag.

Additional nomination tags may be purchased for $100 per tag.

Nomination tags combine:

• Official Payback Genetics Identification Tag

• Buyer's USDA Scrapie Tag

Breeders may choose to:

• Pay the nomination fee themselves

OR

• Pass the nomination cost along to the exhibitor.

In the case of a lost tag, a replacement nomination tag may be purchased and assigned a new identification number.

Semen Quality & Pregnancy Disclaimer

Payback Genetics is committed to providing high-quality genetics and
quality-tested semen through approved collection and storage facilities.

However, while Payback Genetics quality tests all semen, a pregnancy
is not guaranteed.

Successful conception rates may be influenced by numerous factors outside the control of Payback Genetics, including but not limited to semen handling, storage conditions, shipping, synchronization protocols, breeding techniques, animal health, fertility, environmental conditions, and management practices.

Payback Genetics makes no guarantee regarding conception rates, pregnancy rates, lambing percentages, or resulting offspring.

Logo Use Notice

The Payback Genetics® logo is a registered brand asset and may only be used to identify officially Payback Genetics Eligible livestock, approved sires, enrolled breeders, and authorized program materials.

Any unauthorized, misleading, false, defamatory, negative, inflammatory,
deceptive, or brand-damaging use of the Payback Genetics® logo is strictly
prohibited.

The logo may not be altered, modified, distorted, incorporated into other marks, or used in any manner that could misrepresent eligibility, affiliation, endorsement, or participation in the Payback Genetics program.

Payback Genetics reserves the right to revoke logo usage privileges at
its sole discretion and pursue any remedies available to protect the integrity of the Payback Genetics brand.

DNA Verification Policy

To protect the integrity of the Payback Genetics program, Payback Genetics reserves the right to DNA test any Payback Genetics Eligible lamb at any time.

DNA testing may be used to verify parentage, eligibility, ownership
records, nomination information, or compliance with program requirements.

Failure to cooperate with DNA verification requests may result in loss of
eligibility for payouts and participation in the Payback Genetics program.
